A visit from Glen & La Verne....

The end of March '08 brought a fun visit by Tony's parents, Glen and La Verne Navis. It was only a couple of days, but we sure packed in A LOT of fun...Cole's first dip in the pool for the season (waayyy to cold for me!) and a day trip to Julian, CA, for pie...mmm, mmmmmmmm!

Cole's FIRST haircut...

It was a BIG day for Cole, well, I mean for us really. We are officially one week away from his first birthday, so we decided it was time...No more MULLET! After hearing the horror stories from other parents, our palms were sweating before we even stepped foot into Toon Cuts. Apparently, WE were the only nervous ones! Cole was an absolute angel - no tears, no tranrums, no screaming fits. It was completely uneventful except for the "First Haircut Certficate" we, well I mean, HE received! Thanksgiving 2007

It was another first for Cole...Thanksgiving! This doesn't mean very much for him as he couldn't really eat anything - you know, only 2 tiny teeth really hinders the feasting :)

We headed over to Mike and Barbara Horan's for the afternoon. And what a FEAST it was - thanks to Barbara! Take a look at some photos from the day....

An afternoon by the lake...

Yesterday we WANTED to get a hike in at Idyllwild, but Cole had another idea. Well, he was so fussy in his car seat, that we couldn't handle the hour-long ride. So we went for a quick walk at Diamond Valley Lake. What a beautiful day! It would've been nice for Cole to fall asleep in the car up to Idyllwild, but nooooooo, he did on the walk instead - STINKER!

Another hard day for Cole..

This kid is really something else! Talk about high maintenance - Cole has been refusing his afternoon naps, so I take matters into my owns hands...the stroller gets him every time :)
