Fall Fun...

Well, I know you all are wondering about what fun Cole is having now that we are back in Wisconsin, so here are a couple of pictures for you....

My Aunt & Uncle, Gail & Chuck Dallman, invited us all on a Fall Festival Day consisting of a hayride, pumpkin carving, and a pot luck dinner. Cole really enjoyed sitting on each and every pumpkin he could find and eating all the great homemade food!

Kali (my niece), Cole, my sister, Christy, and I on the pumpkin-getting hayride....Cole LOVED the tractor and has since been saying the word!

We have all been enjoying the leaves and the giant leaf piles we can make. Here are some pictures of Cole finding out what leaves really are and how much fun you can have with them...

Yes, as you can see by the bare chest, we've had some really nice days this fall...but believe me, it's cold now...brrrrrrr.

but we were trying to show him how much fun it was!

But he LOVES throwing them up in the air!

A Man's Garage...

It is complete...the garage shelving that is, not unpacking. Tony and his Dad, Glen, finished the job last night. La Verne and I had fun watching the men work. I believe the guys really enjoyed it too! Notice all the dust flying in the air...

It's RODEO TIME!

Last weekend, I took the fam and went back to my roots...RODEO ROOTS that is. My hometown of 1,200 people hosts "The Greatest Midwestern Rodeo" each year, complete with a parade and lots of beer (of course). Of course Cole LOVES animals, so we HAD to go...

La Verne's BIRTHDAY!

Last night we went over to Anne and Chad's place to celebrate LA VERNE'S BIRTHDAY! It was a great time. Lots of good food and great company. AND we learned that Cole LOVES blueberries - he had a couple hundred I think. Hey, whatever we can do to keep him occupied and quiet - JUST KIDDING ;)

A visit from Glen & La Verne....

The end of March '08 brought a fun visit by Tony's parents, Glen and La Verne Navis. It was only a couple of days, but we sure packed in A LOT of fun...Cole's first dip in the pool for the season (waayyy to cold for me!) and a day trip to Julian, CA, for pie...mmm, mmmmmmmm!

Cole's FIRST haircut...

It was a BIG day for Cole, well, I mean for us really. We are officially one week away from his first birthday, so we decided it was time...No more MULLET! After hearing the horror stories from other parents, our palms were sweating before we even stepped foot into Toon Cuts. Apparently, WE were the only nervous ones! Cole was an absolute angel - no tears, no tranrums, no screaming fits. It was completely uneventful except for the "First Haircut Certficate" we, well I mean, HE received!
