The hill is growing!
Well, the hill is getting much bigger! We are only 7" away from setting an all-time record for snowfall in December - which we should be getting today...YIKES!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - finally!
While I was napping, Tony went out and picked out our Christmas tree! I know - it's getting a little late - so I was really happy that Tony took charge - and got a pretty one at that :)
Cole wasn't much help decorating....
Snow Fun!
I came home from Christmas shopping and found this.... I'm not sure if you can see, but Tony snowplowed circles in the backyard to create his own personal sledding hill. It seems a tad close to the house to me, but he and Cole had fun!

Thanksgiving 2008
We spent Thanksgiving out at Tony's Grandparents' place. The day was full of food, sledding, visiting, football, snowman making (Cole's first), and more food. It was like we were all kids again...so much fun.

Snow!!!
Our first real snowfall! We were all very excited as it blustered and accumulate a whole 2 inches. Cole has been having fun making footsteps in the snow and falling on the ice.

A Quilting Frolic...
It may not sound fun to some of you, but let me tell you, quilting frolics are a BLAST! This past weekend, my sister, Christy, and my cousin, Miranda, went up to my Aunt and Uncle's, Lisa and Randy's, for a quilting frolic. A couple of my Aunt's friends joined us so it was quite the party! AND we actually got one mostly finished! Take a look at all the fun we had.....
We started out the night before at the local bar....
This picture's special for Lisa :)
Randy, are we that boring??
The morning after the bar....UGH!
Let the quilting begin! Cutting...
More cutting...
And still more cutting.
Thank goodness we had awesome food and beer!
Miranda and Julie sewing...
Bonnie harrassing me.
Hey, I can sew!
Bonnie harrassing Christy.
More ironing...
After 11 hrs and 5 women working, the beautiful masterpiece is finally complete. Well, kind of...who knew you still need a back!
A special thanks for my Aunt Lisa and Uncle Randy - they made being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere fun and exciting!!!
