SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAAAAAAAAKE!

Cole and Tony have a protein shake every morning together. SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAAAAAAAAKE....This is what I hear Cole screaming from his bed the second he wakes up.
Quite a mustache!

Sooooooo BIG!

Now that Cole has had a birthday, he has officially been measured on the growth chart Tony made him.... Check out his posing....

Cole turned 2!

I know, I am well aware that I am a tad behind with posting about Cole's bday on May 10th. He is officially 2! I'll have to post more pics soon, what with 2 parties and all, but I really wanted to show off my cake-making skills :) After taking 5 hours to make, can I say that I will NEVER do this again? Thank goodness my Mom was here to help... more pics of the parties and my bday boy soon...
Look at my cute boys! Can you tell that Cole was a little excited?
Of course all Tony can say is that Cole got my neck - bummer ;)

Did he touch the "Wormin"????

I came home this weekend to find Cole and Tony so amazed at something that they couldn't even say hi. This is what they were doing... Cole's first face-to-face with a wormin (that's the name from Cole's favorite show, The Backyardigans)...Do you think he touched it??? (It's a video - click on the play button at the lower left corner.)

What a weekend!

My cousin, Miranda, sister Christy, and I, went up to Mountain, WI, to get all domesticated with guidance from our Aunt, Lisa (Miranda's Mom). What a fun weekend!!!!
We started out at 9 p.m. with a knitting lesson...
I LOVE Lisa's teaching style, don't you?
We stayed up knitting until 3 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Saturday was the sewing day... and food...
Thanks to Lisa's awesome cooking, I think I gained 10 lbs!!! YUMMO!Christy and Miranda were soooooo excited just to have a pocket done!
But look at how awesome their aprons turned out!Of course Lisa's was the best, since she is an old pro :) I also made some reversible eye-makeup remover pads....
I am doing my part to save the Earth...one cotton pad at a time! Here's my apron...
It's a "Clothespin Apron".
Most people actually hang their clothes on the line to dry here...
This has already come in handy!
I got the tutorial (I used this word a lot thie weekend - in annoyance of everyone else) at:
