How pretty the snow falling is...

The hill is growing!

Well, the hill is getting much bigger! We are only 7" away from setting an all-time record for snowfall in December - which we should be getting today...YIKES!

Lets see that up close...

What a ride!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - finally!

While I was napping, Tony went out and picked out our Christmas tree! I know - it's getting a little late - so I was really happy that Tony took charge - and got a pretty one at that :)

Cole wasn't much help decorating....

Trying to get Cole to pose in front of the tree....
Finally, a cute shot!
Always a good looking pair...

Snow Fun!

I came home from Christmas shopping and found this.... I'm not sure if you can see, but Tony snowplowed circles in the backyard to create his own personal sledding hill. It seems a tad close to the house to me, but he and Cole had fun!

Thanksgiving 2008

We spent Thanksgiving out at Tony's Grandparents' place. The day was full of food, sledding, visiting, football, snowman making (Cole's first), and more food. It was like we were all kids again...so much fun.

A Quilting Frolic...

It may not sound fun to some of you, but let me tell you, quilting frolics are a BLAST! This past weekend, my sister, Christy, and my cousin, Miranda, went up to my Aunt and Uncle's, Lisa and Randy's, for a quilting frolic. A couple of my Aunt's friends joined us so it was quite the party! AND we actually got one mostly finished! Take a look at all the fun we had..... We started out the night before at the local bar....This picture's special for Lisa :)
Randy, are we that boring?? The morning after the bar....UGH! Let the quilting begin! Cutting...More cutting...
And still more cutting.
Thank goodness we had awesome food and beer!
Miranda and Julie sewing...Bonnie harrassing me.Hey, I can sew!
Bonnie harrassing Christy.
More ironing...
After 11 hrs and 5 women working, the beautiful masterpiece is finally complete. Well, kind of...who knew you still need a back!

A special thanks for my Aunt Lisa and Uncle Randy - they made being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere fun and exciting!!!

WISCONSIN OR BUST!

Many of you already know, but I have to mention in a post, FINALLY, that we have officially moved back to Wisconsin!! We could not have been blessed more with how everything has turned out. I will post more exciting moving pictures, but wanted to FINALLY add one of our new house....

It is complete with laundry shoots, secret stairways and attics, and yes, a not-so-creepy basement thanks to Tony fixing it up a little.

Fall Fun...

Well, I know you all are wondering about what fun Cole is having now that we are back in Wisconsin, so here are a couple of pictures for you....

My Aunt & Uncle, Gail & Chuck Dallman, invited us all on a Fall Festival Day consisting of a hayride, pumpkin carving, and a pot luck dinner. Cole really enjoyed sitting on each and every pumpkin he could find and eating all the great homemade food!

Kali (my niece), Cole, my sister, Christy, and I on the pumpkin-getting hayride....Cole LOVED the tractor and has since been saying the word!

We have all been enjoying the leaves and the giant leaf piles we can make. Here are some pictures of Cole finding out what leaves really are and how much fun you can have with them...

Yes, as you can see by the bare chest, we've had some really nice days this fall...but believe me, it's cold now...brrrrrrr.

Cole doesn't so much like laying in the leaves yet,
but we were trying to show him how much fun it was!

But he LOVES throwing them up in the air!

More stories to come as I realize I have been really lazy about posting all of our fun WI adventures.

STAY TUNED!
