A Quilting Frolic...

It may not sound fun to some of you, but let me tell you, quilting frolics are a BLAST! This past weekend, my sister, Christy, and my cousin, Miranda, went up to my Aunt and Uncle's, Lisa and Randy's, for a quilting frolic. A couple of my Aunt's friends joined us so it was quite the party! AND we actually got one mostly finished! Take a look at all the fun we had..... We started out the night before at the local bar....This picture's special for Lisa :)
Randy, are we that boring?? The morning after the bar....UGH! Let the quilting begin! Cutting...More cutting...
And still more cutting.
Thank goodness we had awesome food and beer!
Miranda and Julie sewing...Bonnie harrassing me.Hey, I can sew!
Bonnie harrassing Christy.
More ironing...
After 11 hrs and 5 women working, the beautiful masterpiece is finally complete. Well, kind of...who knew you still need a back!

A special thanks for my Aunt Lisa and Uncle Randy - they made being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere fun and exciting!!!

That's awesome! I am super jealous that you all went up to quilt and had so much fun.

When can I lure you all to St Paul to teach me how to use my cutting mat and work on a quilt?

I love that I found these pictures and everything you wrote about your fun time at my mom and dad's. I know they loved having you both there and were so proud to see you learn to quilt. I am incredibly jealous that I wasn't able to be a part of it.

Could you send me your address at marisalynn17@gmail.com? Hope we are able to stay in touch.

Love Marisa
