Handmade Holiday Gifts

Yeah, yeah, it's about time I am posting my Handmade Holidays Christmas Gifts. We did the same this year on my side of the family - drawing names in 3 categories: $25 gift, PJ's, and a handmade (crafty) gift. It was all soooo much fun to give and receive. Here's what I came up with this year...
Cole had Tony's (Daddy) name for PJ's, so you guessed it, I followed a tutorial! I made these out of a bed sheet and appliqued #1 Dad using Wonder-Under.
I had Christy's name for crafty (handmade gift) and I couldn't stop making stuff. I took the AWESOME pics that Amber of Bliss & Innocence Photography (http://ambersphotojournal.blogspot.com/) took and turned them into fabric covered art.
I just printed the images to iron-on transfer paper, then transferred them to some cream muslin and stapled it onto some cheap art canvases I found at Hobby Lobby.
They'll look perfect on her fireplace mantel!I also made her some hand and pocket warmers out of one of our Dad's old flannel shirts.
AND I made her a big bow pin - very Anthropoligie if you ask me.
And yes, the same corduroy fabric I LOVE.
Maybe a tutorial of my own soon to come :)This was a gift Christy made for one of her girlfriend's son....how cute is this!
She took some fleece and made this boy's scarf -
and using Wonder-Under of course to applique his initials.
Too cute not to post.I also made my sister and her little guy matching aprons!
How cute is he in his apron!
Using Wonder-Under, again, I did the tie applique to make a very boy apron.
He loves to wear his apron and help his Mommy make stuff :)
